Citizenship: Malta (passport - 182 territory of visa-free entry)
Benefits:
- the right to reside, work and study in the EU countries,
- recognition of dual citizenship,
- no taxes on income, property and donation,
- no language proficiency requirement,
- minimum accommodation requirements (15 days and the presence of a “real connection”),
- including spouse, children under 26 years of age, dependent parents over the age of 55,
- time of registration of the passport - 12 months,
- the program is approved by the EU Freedom Schengen EU.
- the program is not available to citizens: Iran, North Korea, Afghanistan.
Investment Requirements:
- a contribution to the National and Social Development Fund for the main applicant in the amount of 650 thousand euro,
- contribution for the spouse and each minor child of 25 thousand euro,
- a fee for each child from 18 to 26 years old or parents over 55 years old who are dependent on the applicant in the amount of 50 thousand euro,
- maintaining the status of Malta’s resident for at least 5 years by either buying a property worth at least 350 thousand euro or renting a property with an annual rent of at least 16 thousand euro,
- investments in Malta's government bonds in the amount of not less than 150 thousand euro with a placement period of at least 5 years.
Additional expenses:
- fee for carrying out a comprehensive verification of the reliability of the applicant and his family members in the amount of 7.5 thousand euro for the main applicant, 5 thousand euro for a spouse, 5 thousand euro for each dependent aged 18 to 25 years and over 55 years old, 3 thousand euro for each dependent from 13 to 18 years old.
