E-2 Visa is an investor non-immigrant visa that allows its holder and his family members to live and work in the United States on the basis of investments in a company registered in the United States. As the business develops and the amount of investments increases, the investor can convert E-2 to EB-1s or EB-5, which will make it possible to qualify for a Green Card.
To obtain an E-2 visa, the declarer must meet the following requirements:

E-2 visa is available to citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Grenada, Kazakhstan, Canada, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Estonia, etc.,

- the investor will have to develop and manage the business, while owning 50% of the American company or should hold the position of a key manager or leader,

A visa is usually issued for two years, but can be renewed an unlimited number of times.
The spouse and children of an E-2 visa holder under the age of 21 years have the right to accompany the main applicant and also becoming holders of an E-2 visa. Spouse has the right to employment, children have the right to attend school.
An expedited review of the petition is possible within 15 days, after paying the additional fee to the US Immigration Service.
E-2 allows you to go to the Green Card after the company has achieved certain indicators.
Currently, the E-2 visa is often used by investors awaiting a decision on the EB-5, for which it is important to be in the United States at this time.
